Energy Efficiency
SEBSI Windows and Doors Services Ltd offers aluminium bi-fold doors that are thermally efficient. The standard glass unit used in our aluminium bi-folding door is 28mm in depth and is comprised of 4mm toughened clear glass to the outside, a warm edge spacer bar and 4mm toughened clear Low E glass on the inside. This enables our bi-fold doors to achieve u-values as low as 1.4W/m²K.
For an upgrade, we offer Pilkington Optiphon glass which is an acoustic laminated glass that offers excellent noise reduction without compromising on light transmittance or impact performance. Two 3mm pieces of glass are put together with a noise reducing inter-layer typically 0.8mm thick. This glass offers the dual benefit of noise reduction and security.
